The Sharon Sukkah is a unique collection of wall hangings and panels for decorating the sukkah, combining Hebrew calligraphy, Biblical verses, and contemporary designs of themes associated with the Land of Israel.
Throughout the ages, the "booth" (sukkah) of the harvest festival has been an important way of showing love for the commandments (hiddur mitzvah), as the Talmud teaches, "Adorn yourself before Him [in the fulfillment of the precepts]: make a beautiful sukkah in His honour…" The Jewish people in all their wanderings have taken to "adorning" or beautifying the sukkah as befits the celebration of the most joyous of holidays, Sukkot.
